It's Landen :) [Pics added]

I've been around for a little bit now and have gathered some great advice and help from a few of you. Landen is my baby boy and he is 7 months old. Right now we're battling parasites and he's been pretty strong about it. He's not really a fan of his meds but I keep telling him "it'll make you feel better" so even though I get the evil eye he takes his medicine then takes off as to say "I'm done, not taking anymore mommy". He's really sweet I just feel bad that he came to me sick. Probably better this way because now he's being treated and actually being cared for. He likes his little snuggles before bed, and I've finally gotten my sister to carry the routine when I can not be home for bed time (she was scared of him). Now that she'll take him out I have to steal him back when I get home and she won't let him up easy. For a person so scared of him she sure snuggled him for a long time last night about 3 hours lol (he has her number now haha) I'm sure he just loved it! I have no pictures to post at the moment seeing as I'm at work and doing this on my phone but when I get home I'll post some for all of you that love pictures I'm addicted to this site and look forward to meeting more of you wonderful people on here.

Haha. Great pics! He's an active guy! I think it's hilarious when they decide to sleep in the weirdest positions. Brutus is the same age as Landen. He decided to climb to the top of my head last night and I could feel him do his getting-comfy wiggles, ready to fall asleep. Oh no you don't!

How did Landen come into your possession?

Haha and he's just like come on i'm getting comfortable. Unfortunately the only time Landen has done the head run was when he was eating his soy yogurt, he jumped in the bowl and so quickly ran up my arm onto my head covered in yogurt. It was cute I think he was a bit scared once he hit the coldness of the yogurt. So to speak yogurt in your hair makes a good hair product even fruity smelling to boot lol.

As for how I got him, I had a friend tell me that he knew someone who had 2 male beardies both the same age when I had talked of possibly getting myself one. He said they have to go so I went to go see them and I knew I didn't have room for 2 so when I got there both of them didn't look happy and how do you choose one from the other. I was sad, I just don't think this guy really cared as he was loaded with other pets that all seemed to look pretty well taken care of. I convinced my friend he had to take one and I would take the other because I just didn't have it in my heart to leave one behind. Their vivs were really dirty...I mean REALLY DIRTY and no uvb at all since he got them as well as their diet was lettuce and that's it. So alot of neglect and no wonder they didn't look happy.

So long story short I got to pick my favorite of the two and my friend took the brother. Once I started noticing differences which I didn't really know what was normal to begin with so I was pretty much freaking out at everything and looking things up and so on. I decided to ease my mind that there was something wrong I took him to the vet and had a fecal sample done and turns out yes he was loaded with parasites. My friend then took his in after I advised him of Landen and sure thing we're both on the road to recovery.

Guess that wasn't really a long story short haha I love to talk :lol:
