It's all about Roo!

I decided to make Roo a thread because i think it would be fun, and i don't want him left out!

I will start with today:

I put my hand in his tank, and he puffed hi beard and gaped at me! It was the first time he has done it, and let me tell you i was very surprised! i didn't get a pic because it was over as quickly as it happened and the look was like "come any closer, and i will tear off your finger :evil: "! moody little bugger.

Well here are some pictures of him, some old some new and i will try to keep it up to date.

Okay haven't got much to report but ill update anyway.

today i was feeding roo his morning 20+ crickets, i noticed that he runs around with his tongue out so he is already prepared to catch a cricket! and make a quick getaway lol.

then while i bathed him, he did the biggest turd i have seen in my life, it was like 2 1/2 inches! and he is 11 inches and he has never been impacted, it was just really big!

sorry but i felt i had to share.

How adorable! Roo figured out that it'd be much easier to just stand there with his tongue sticking out and wait for an unsuspecting cricket to hop by, instead of chasing after them and missing. :laughing6:

Isn't amazing how much "stuff" their little bellies could store! If that was us humans, . . . I shudder at that thought

Okay so today when i wake up, i get roo out and take him to the kitchen with me to make his salad, after i had done that i put the salad in his tank and go to put him in with it.

but no he didn't want a bar of that! so what does he do??

he thinks it would be fun to climb halfway down my back to where i couldn't reach him and do laps around my shoulders :roll: :lol:

i got him in eventually and he gave the best stink eye he could come up with!!

anyway today after school i go to the pet shop and got him some wood roaches and OMG he LOVES them!
i will only feed him like 2-3 a day just to give him some variety.

so that's the update. oh yeah my animal studies course starts on Monday FINALLY!!

A few days ago, i feed Roo some small roaches, and the day before that he ate some squash.

He pooed the squash out yesterday and the day before that, but no roaches.

so thinking he was blocked up, i massaged his whole tummy (i forgot what side it was that your ment to massage), and sure enough a turd came out yay for poo!

I told Shane (the bf) this, and he said you get excited about some very disturbing things, and i said well he pooed didnt he?
and Shane said he would have eventually.

he just doesn't understand!

roo love his roaches but hes only getting them a few times a week from now on.

Today i gave roo his bath and he really enjoyed because he is shedding, so thats why his colors arent the greatest, but i will post pix of him during and after his shed for those that are interested!

Not a lot happened today, so me Shane and his mate decided to watch the new Friday 13th movie, and i thought "yeah why not?" so i get up and get Roo out sit back in the lounge room and put him on my my chest.

I'm so proud of my little man because he didn't move for the whole hour and a half, even with all the screaming and loud noises in the movie, except to get on my bare skin to warm his belly.

So he had a afternoon nap on my chest!

It makes me love him so much more because he is finally trusting me!!!! :love5:

He has just she and he looks sooooooo handsome will post pics later.

I measured Roo yesterday, and he has grown an inch since i measures him last and that was four weeks ago!!

so i got back from melbourne tonight and i go look at roo, and he has turned into a sumo!!

hes a fat little man
