I have a juvenile bearded dragons about 5 months old I'm a newbie when it comes to sexing and I thought Harley (my beardie) was a girl but I'm not so sure now. The bulges are not clear at all and I have used a flashlight to no help.
I've read something that there are pores on the males hind legs that are not found on a female. If that's the case then Harley is a boy as he/she has quite prominent pores along her hind legs. I don't know how to share photos so I cannot send photos. Advice please????!!!

If you're still looking for help, there is a fairly easy way to tell the gender of your lizard. Both males and females have pores on their hind legs. Lay your beardie flat and pull their tail straight up so you're looking at the underside of the tail. Then, shine a light through the tail to better see their organs. A male will have two oval-shaped organs near the sides of the tail. A female will not. She will have an organ very close to the opening that they use to go to the bathroom.

If you can figure out how to post pictures, I'm sure this forum could help more!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
