Is this what heat rock burns look like?

Note: I do not use heat rocks these aren't my dragons.

At the store where I bought my dragon they always use heat rocks, I noticed that some of the lizards there have bright red coloured feet. I was curious as to if they were from the heat rock. I was browsing youtube today and I found some bd's with similar colouring on their feet and tails http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQcm20xneTE&feature=related that's the video? Are those burns? I'm just wondering because the people at the pet store said their rocks never caused harm, and if those are heat burns I'd say that's harm...

I'm not sure what heat burn looks like, but I was at the reptile store that we go, and the guy asked us if we have her on RED sand as a substrate. We just got her a little under a month ago and she was living in a tank that DID have red sand, but we immediately up-graded her tank size, got her OFF the sand and improved her lighting. So, maybe the beardies in that youtube are also in red sand?????? I really don't for sure... I was kinda hoping that the red color on her feet and tail were just part of her natural coloring rather than dye. LOL

Thats calcisand dye on their feet.One of the MANY reasons it shouldnt be used.

Ah, I see. I was wondering if it might be that too. Still doesn't explain why the ones in the pet store have red feet though, they're on like a crushed walnut or something.
