Is this tail rot?

Towards the end of his tail has always been a bit darker since we got him, I figured it was just his coloring but now I’m worrying it might be tail rot? He just recently she’s, seems to have done everything and about 3/4 of the way down his tail from what I could tell. I’ve been giving him baths to see if the rest of the tail is going to shed….although it may have and I didn’t see it 🤷🏼‍♀️

You're right, it's just coloring. :) Lots of beardies do have tails that get darker as they taper to the end.

Hello,

I agree, it is just pigmentation on the end of the tail, it is very common. :)

I agree. My baby has it too so you don't need to worry about it:)

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
