I just noticed over the past couple of days that Kenshin has developed a very slight under bite. He has an MVB (T-Rex) bulb with two basking spots within 12" (he uses them both) and his viv has a good temp gradient. He eats superworms, dubia roaches, and mustard greens (mostly). He's about 5 months and 20" long. He seems really healthy, he's growing well and shedding and eating and everything. I give him rep-cal Calcium with D3 and without (alternating) because I've heard so many conflicting reports on whether you need D3 with a MVB and I figured better safe than sorry. He also gets Herptevite.
I thought I was taking proper care of him (He's my only pet so he gets more attention then he may like) but when I noticed that he seems to be getting an underbite and I remembered that that's a sign of MBD I kind of freaked out.
Here's a picture of him about a month ago and today:
Is it possible the MVB bulb isn't getting enought UV to him? Would it be ok to add another UV bulb? (There's a florescent fixture in there too)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm so worried.
