Is this normal shedding? this shed on his back has been on him for probably 2-3 months and I am wondering if thats normal... He is a Juvenile becoming Sub-Adult. I have tried bathing him in shed ease but it doesnt work for the shed on his back.

Hi, i would call that a bad shed. A couple of bath soaks should help. Just make sure you keep his water warm. I dont think he is in any kind of danger but there are fungus and such so be careful and im sure someone else will chime in. :)

It looks like a retained shed, defiantly not a good one,

as stated before, try giving warm baths and softly rubbing the shed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
