I have had my dragon about 2 weeks...she was a rather feisty Petsmart "fancy" and honestly appears to be doing quite well. I do have some feeding concerns.

When i got her I purchased BSFL, Supers, and Dubai...initially she mauled the BSFL and Supers but not the Dubai. Now she ONLY eats the Dubai. Which Im fine with I will continue to care for the Supers and offer her one here or there to see if her interest perks. She also loves greens and readily eats 2-3 1" square pieces of either Collards or Mustard per day. She however wont eat them in smaller pieces she likes the "large" pieces which are the size of her head. lol

In addition to the greens she only eats 8-10 Dubai per day...now my Dubai were ordered as 1/2" however are more like 3/4"ish. I keep them well fed on chow and always have produce in their tank. I do think she has grown and filled out quite a bit since getting her. She appears healthy and is alert. She always has her head raised, basks most of her day, and scurries around from time to time. She allows me to hand feed her the greens but eats her Dubai out of a bowl. She wont typically eat more than 2-3 at a time. If she eats her 10 prior to my going to bed I add her a few more. I go to bed at 11 and her lamp goes off at 3am.

I know a lot of people say their dragon eats 20+ crickets per day at this size(7-8")...I am just concerned she may not be up to par with what is average.

She poops 1-2X per day and it is always a firm turd(lack of better word). I do mist her 1X per day primarily because she likes it and I figure the extra hydration isnt bad. Her greens are also kept wet.

I do use Calcium powder without D3 on her Dubai daily....she has a 10.0 UVB inside the tank 4-5" from her basking so I am correct in the fact she does not need D3?

Using D3 and not Using D3 is a very controversial topic however I would recommend u use it because they aren't outside and it's what I have been using on my bearded dragon and leo .D3 helps break and absorb calcium so to me it's good to have more .

If your ReptiSun 10 is a T8 (it should be at that close distance, i'd even back it off to about 6'' if you can) then I would use D3 or an all-in-one like Repashy Calcium plus. As mentioned it's a controversial subject so there are a lot of thoughts on it. The way I see it, if you use a high powered UVB light such as a T5 or a good MVB or metal halide then you can provide UVB output similar to natural sunlight and they can synthesize their own D3. With the lower output bulbs, providing a D3 supplement may be beneficial.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
