Mine does the sexy leg when she sleeps. But any feeder cricket you get is soft shelled. the reason yours dont chirp is because they are not mature yet. They are usually not mature when you buy them from a petstore. Let them stay in the keeper a few weeks and they WILL start chirping. All crickets chirp there is no such thing as a non chirping soft shelled cricket. Sorry. yours don't have wings right? Once they grow them that's hoe they chirp. Everyone is right, your beardie needs more crickets. And not evrryother day...every day for now. She is probably around 7-9 months, mine is 5 months and 10inches. You obviously didn't do much homework on beardies if you got her without a uvb bulb, and listened to a petstore clerk. I talked to the "reptile manager" in petsmart who has 5 beardies at home who told me you can put 3 together in a 20 gal with calci sand or walnut shell, a 25 watt bulb, never said anything about a basking spot or uvb, and feed them dragon pellets every 3-5 days. Everyone is just trying to look out and help you and your dragon. But you were given false info, its not your fault and a shame that the people we think we can listen to in petstores give such wrong info. Google everything being debated here and you will see. He is also right about the crickets not being digested because its too cold. And what do you mean she pants? If she opens her mouth under warmer light she is gaping to release heat because her bodys at max temp and she is enjoying basking. It's usually too cold if you don't ever see them do this. I hope you get a uvb bulb soon and search the internet so you can see we just want to help. Noone is putting you down or insulting you.
