So I have had my bearded dragon for Six months now I got him as a baby at about a month old and when I take him out all he does is cuddle up and sleep. I have him out on average at least six hours if not more and he sleeps practically the whole time and through the night.

He also refuses to go back in his cage if he is not asleep is this normal as well? and is there I a way I can get him to be more open about going in and out of his cage?

My Peppa loves a good snuggle and to have her back and head stroked , snuggles into the body and goes to sleep in a little while.

Toothless on the other hand is a livewire and is more apt to want to explore.

Both 6 months old.

Every beardie has a different personality.

Show you the boss and put him back when it's time and don't take no for an answer.... I know it hard but he'll soon get the idea and while there will be always be a protest or an attempt to con you to let him stay out or with you.

He needs the heat in his tank for his body to digest + function properly, and the uvb is critical for a growing baby. Him curling up + falling asleep is probably because he's cold and that is a reaction to being cold. Even though you love him + want to be near him, he has different temperature requirements than a human being.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
