Is this log good for an adult Beardie?

My friend and I ripped this off of a tree yesterday, his dad helped us cut it down a bit, I scrubbed it with antibacterial soap, put it in the freezer over night, took it out today and scrubbed again, and now I may put it in the stove just to make sure it is disinfected completely. Is this log of an appropriate size for an adult Beardie?

I think it would be perfect. Just make sure it's set up in such a way that it won't fall, either while he's on it or while he's under it. Give it a good bake in the oven and it will be ready to go.

Yeah I'm thinking of taking a hot glue gun and gluing it to the side of the enclosure. I know that it could slip because it's too small for my 40g. I was plannig for it to fit all the way across the enclosure (like slanted, if you know what I mean, kinda like this ---> /). Would the hot glue keep it in place?
