Is this any sign of tail rot? Or is it normally growing back

I have recently gotten my beardie ojay. Hes been great. Alert and all. After inspecting his tail closer over the past few days i noticed this. https://i.imgur.com/3H5dYO7.jpg and this https://i.imgur.com/gL1ejFH.jpg
I was informed and could visibly see he was tail nipped. Though i didn't look all that close until now. I think its growing back normally and that isn't tail rot. Though just wanted to make sure and get some other opinions.

It looks like it's just shedding but keep an eye on it. If it starts to look shriveled and that is traveling up the tail it could indicate an infection that would need to be addressed quickly.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
