Is this an ok grain to use..?

For my worms/roaches I have a mixture of bran/oatmeal/kashi. I went to the feed store today and bought something called "Starter chick feed" which is a fine crumbly grain. I was wondering if its okay to mix in a bit with my roaches/worms..?

Yes this is ok just make sure you add some other items to it like the ones you have listed above. Also just make sure that stuff is non-medicated

One thing about the chick feed is make sure you not getting medicated. I use chicken the feed for laying hens. Most ingredients are the same but it has a higher calcium content. I get 40 or 50 lb bag for about $10. For small crickets and roaches I've used an old blender and ground it up into more of a powder. It's a great inexpensive alternative to the feeder gut loads sold in pet stores or online.
