Is this an abcess?

Hello!

My Blazer is about four years old, 14 inches. He is shedding right now so I've been giving him daily baths but there seems to be an abscess that came up last week. Is this something to be concerned about? Could it just be shed that hasn't detached yet? It's on his lower left side on his back, about an inch from his leg. I took some pictures comparing his left and right sides, but I don't know how to upload them ?. Can someone help me do that?

Hi there, I don't see much difference in the 2 sides. Can you post pics without the red marking ? That might show the area better.

It's just a tiny bit more lumpy on that side but that's common with beardies because of the large amount of food they eat.

Hello,

I agree, an abscess looks much different. That is simply a size variance from food intake,
etc.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
