Is this a healthy tail?

Hey guys, I just got my first dragon 5 days ago. So far so good, he/she's starting to eat more every day. I was curious about it's tail though, It has been a lighter color since I received it, and also has a couple spots of black in there. I'm not sure if that's just it's color, or if that could be a tail nip I keep reading about. He/she is 5.5" and a little over a month old.

It looks like its in preshed to me. I don't see anything alarming about the tail.

A nip would be where another dragon bit the tail and left an injury.

adorable! Looks okay to me. Mort's tail is a different shade because she's shed body and tail at different times. So her tail is a bit less colourful because it hasn't shed as recently.
