Is the EXO TERRA nocturnal heating light 75w good for heat?

I got my first beardie today. I have a 75w nocturnal red lamp light for his heat source, I also have a 50w white lamp for it. is the white one better for the beardie? oris the red one? I've heard the red one is bad to use, I don't use it at night, I use the red one during the day. should I switch to the white light?

no, red lamps are not good for their eyes. You should just be using white lights for during the day.
If you need night time heating (which you should NOT need unless your temps get to below 65F), then you should use a ceramic heat emitter, which provides heat but does not provide light. You do NOT want anything that provides any light, as this will keep them up.
