Is silicone safe to use for background?

I have a solid black melamine enclosure and I want to add a background to it. I purchased a tank cling I was thinking of attaching to the inside with silicone. Would this work and if so, what is a good silicone to use? Thanks for any tips!

Silicone should be OK. Depending on the material you might be able to use glue dots. I use those to hold my photo background in place and they work well attaching photo paper to glass.

lot of people recommend the ge 1 for windows and doors the one without the mold resistance it's non toxic once is cured i used it to caulk my enclosure once is cured it turns like a plastic very hardy it took 5 days for me to cure but it was inside it has a strong smell like vinegar when is not cured but is not too bad.

Like the above poster said, I would only use silicone 1 (not 2). Silicone 1 is pure silicon, while silicone 2 has other properties that (though unlikely) could cause harm to your dragon.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
