Is she just tired?

Yesterday i brought my dragon outside for a while, it was hot outside (about 90-100 degrees under the sun) and the UV index was around 7. I had her in her old, smaller tank. I took her out occasionally and had her on my lap. After a while, she started frantically running in the tank and tried digging. So i brought her in and put her back in her normal tank. As i left her she was on her basking spot, but then when i came in the house (maybe an hour or two later) she was underneath leaves laying down, i figured she was tired because that is where she fell asleep. But many hours later, she is still in that spot, eyes are open and she is responsive to other people but shes still just laying there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there....it's likely that she became way overheated and feeling sick now. She may have even had a heatstroke. A glass tank will heat up intensely, so it probably was well over 120 in the tank. A glass tank is a no no for taking beardies outside, always remember that. For now, put her in a shallow lukewarm soak to give her a chance to drink but stay with er to be sure she doesn't drown. See how she acts....if you notice extreme lethargy, dizziness and possibly blackbearding she may have had a heat stroke and you'd have to seek a qualified reptile vet who may or may not be able to help. But that's a worse case scenario....hopefully she's just exhausted.

Would refrain from the glass tank in the future, there are foldable outside playpens for cats that work great for beardies!
