IMG00543-20110721-2046.jpg

all righty then, its a 40 gal breeder with a hinged screen lid there is an 18inch reptisun tube light mounted on the inside by the basking area, he has a 100 watt house bulb for heat.

the flooring is that non adhesive shelf liner and

he has an indoor outdoor thermometer with the probe end on his basking spot...
IMG00563-20110721-2056.jpg

his basking spot is about 108.9 and the cool end is about 80

this is him enjoying some heat...

Also he ate about 8 crickets and some salad today and pooped twice in case any one was wondering
and had a soak as per the breeders directions for post shipping care

Your set up looks perfect!

The only thing I would add would be a wider basking spot. Other than that there is nothing I would change.

BTW, what a beautiful looking dragon you have!

thats what the brick was for but it wasn't reaching a high enough temp plus i think it was too far from the uv bulb.... but i will try to figure out how to make it wider maybe wrap some rope around it or something...

Your set up and temps look good! Also that branch you have is awesome, i have the same one for my drogon and he loves it, your little guy will to, it offers lots of variety and heights for basking. Carefull with the shelf liner, his nails may get hooked in the spaces, ceramic tiles are really good, easy to clean up to. He looks happy!

You could if you want. I have never had a dragon that has actually used his/her hide though :| But they usually do climb over it lol.

Whats with the blue spot? For the breeder knows its your beardie or something? Lol. Very nice tank setup btw, down the road try some tile on the bottom, easy to clean and will keep his nails down :)

yes the blue spot if from the breeders but his tail is looking like it wants to shed so hopefully it will be gone in a week or so, as for tile i was considering it but for now his brick seems to be helping to keep his nails trim..

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
