Ok beardeddragin fam, im not concern or worried, just comfused as this is my first dragon so i dont know everything about brumation even with doing loads of research about it.my guy is about 12 months old, 19 & 1/2 inches long and about 520 grams. He same slowed down in eating anything especially his salad. He doesnt eat his dubias at all and like 2 or 3 supers. He currently jas parasites (coccidia and capaleria or something like that) and is being treated. I have him in a 75gal tank. And only had a hide in it to make it easier to clean with the parasites. He isnt loosing weight, seems like every week he goes up just a little bit in weight. I had the hide on the hot side so he can get closer to the heat to bask some. Found him in the cave one day after work. The next morning he pocked his head out when the lights came on. He came out to bask then went back in his cave/hide and started scratching the floor and inside of the hide with both fron and back legs. The hide was on the hot side at the time. Just moced it to the cool side today and added a log for basking. Ive read the article about brumation but it doesnt explain what should be done when they hit they're brumation stage. Im just wondering is he brumating or going to that stage cause hes not always in his hide and is sometimes in the hit side basking. Another thing is his mouth is always open even when he sleeps. He doesnt have a respitory infection nkr have any signs of it besides the mouth always open. Its open even when hes sleeping. Temps are 100 to 106 on basking 90 to 95 in the middle ans towards the floor and aboit 75 to 80 in cool. Humidity is around 30% to 40%. Uvb is a 10.0 reptisun tube due for replacement in december. Any input would be great. Remember this is my first bearded dragon and im still learning about them.
