So my beardie doesn't let me hold him but lets me hand feed him. Each time i touch him he puffs up and look like he might bite me and flinches away. I was just sitting next to his cage one day and had my hand out like an open hand next to his cage and after sitting there for a bit he ran at it and started scratching the cage and now idk what that means and after that he just moved after i moved my hand and i put it back and he just came back and stared at it so what should i do I've not been able to tame him for almost a month.

He may be associating your hand with food. It's OK to hand feed him like that. It may take a while longer for him to become tamer though. That really varies from dragon to dragon. Do you find that he is calmer at any particular time of day? It may just take him growing a bit older and bigger for him to be calmer which is OK and normal for some of them. If he is alert, healthy, eating well, then that's all a good sign.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
