I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place (I'm new on this website) but my 2-3 months old Bearded Dragon seems to eat every 2 days, is this normal ? He is strong and runs around in his terrarium, his poops are normal and all. I'm just worried he doesn't eat enough. Maybe it's too soon, I've had him for a week or so.

If he's alert and active, he's probably fine. Does he eat a big meal when he does eat? Their appetites will fluctuate so keep offering a couple of meals per day. If he doesn't want it but is still active, that's OK. He may hit a growth spurt and eat a lot more down the road.

Are you monitoring his weight at least weekly ?

He died last night, I don't know why. His poops were normal and everything, he drank water the only thing was that he didn't eat. We held a nice funeral for him in my backyard. I hope he's in a better place now.

Rest In Peace Arlo,
I'm going to miss you a lot, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything more for you. You were already in bad shape when you came home, I promised I would help you but I guess I can't keep all my promises.

I'm so sorry to hear of Arlo's passing :(
I'm unsure how long you had him, but if it happened that suddenly there may have been an underlying issue as you suggested.

Please don't let this experience discourage you from welcoming a new scaly face into your home. When the time comes, this forum will still be here for you for any assistance you need.

Oh no! That's sad news =(. It didn't sound like he was showing signs of being ill if he was running around and pooping regularly. Did he have a dark black beard? He must have had an underlying health issue that he was hiding really well. In that case there isn't anything more you could have done for him unfortunately.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
