Is my beardie actually 4 months old? Pic included.

Hey guys, I picked up a new Bearded Dragon from Dragons4you.net. I am very pleased with my purchase to say the least. Only thing is, he looks very very big for his age. He is 222 grams and 15" long. His hatch date says 6-3-15. So he will be 5 months old in a few days. Do you guys think this could be possible? He is already bigger than my 10 month old Dragon. (Doesn't weigh as much) but he looks bigger and he's got a big mallet head. Basically, my question is could this be possible that he is only a few days shy of 5 months old? He is very big. Iv'e just never heard of a Dragon being that big at that young of an age. Thanks for any input. Here is a pic.

Wow he is a big boy! I'm not very experienced, so I'll let someone else answer your question, just wanted to say congratulations on your new baby, beautiful one at that, and I'm sure you will have lots of fun with him!

Rocket is also a big boy at five months. If you want to see his growth click on that link. Maybe having another dragon to compare to will help. he's the length of my boyfriend's forearm.

He looks about 4 months old, yes. Beardies are generally sold around 2-3 months old. Just ask the breeder again if you feel unsure.

What a cutie! I'm not very experienced but he does seem big for 4-5 months. However, I've seen a few similar beardies that are about his size and the same age. So I wouldn't doubt if his age is correct, he might just be a big healthy baby
