Hi my bearded dragon is about 8 months old i think, at least thats what the pet store owner told me 2 months ago that he was 6 months old so i cant take it as 100 percent anyway hes only about 13 inches and only ways 115 grams, mind you he his well feed about 50 insects a day including crickets, calci worms and Dubai roaches with collard greens regularly and apples occasionally with calcuim dusting and bathes 3-4 times a week and i mist him 2 to 3 times a day. He has a 4ftx1ftx2ft tank and a UVB 10.0 Reptisun with a basking bulb that reaches between 36 and 40 degress Celsius and a lino substrate. He recently had parasites however he is on medication now which is helping clear them up. Im just wondering if my bearded dragon is too small for his age? Hopefully the pet store owner was wrong about his age and he isnt under growing.

At 8 months old Peppa was 331g , Toothless was 253g , Rex was 281g and Puff was 258g . I've 8 month old centrals who were as small as 200g.

Are you sure he's a central and not a rankins ? 115g at 8 months is very small for a central.

<<< he should be getting mostly live insects , 2 times per day , as many as he'll eat each session , and I'd recommend a day cycle of 16hr on / 8 hr off (to maximize his chances to bask and stay warm.

Yea I googled about whither it could be a rankins but he hasn't got any similar features and had grown past there usual 12 inches and all my insects I feed him are live, I will try increasing the amount time he basks and give him more protein just to help him grow, thanks for the advice

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
