Is my bearded dragon just a slow grower

Since I love my bearded dragon so much I do worry about her sometimes. I'm just wondering if she is a slow grower. She is about 8 months old 281 grams, but she is only 13.5". And a lot of other people's bearded dragons seem to be around 17" at that age

I mean she looks healthy and she has just recently started eating collard greens

Well, that size falls in to the average range for her age. Plus, she is really quite hefty, so she may be short + stocky as an adult. Just give her time, she still has a year to grow. Just like some people grow faster than others [ think of 7th graders, some look like kids, others could pass for much older than they are ] the same with some animals.
