Is my baby bearded dragon overweight?

I have noticed that he/she is beginning to develop a little bit of a belly. I dont know if this is good or bad yet? He eats about 12-14 small crickets everyday and eats some of his veggies and poops about once everyday day.

He looks perfectly normal and very healthy, though personally i'd try feeding him more crickets. Though if 12-14 crickets a day is all he is willing to eat i suppose thats okay as well as he does seem to have a normal weight in the picture.

Usually for 1-4 months its 3 feedings a day, with 10-20 crickets each feeding, which ends up around 30-60 crickets or more a day. Which isnt actually that costly when you order online in bulk.

Do you have a scale that measures in grams? If so you can use that and track his weight monthly so you can see how much he lost or gained compared to the last check.

It's good to see a pudgy belly on a young beardie, they need lots of protein for their fast growth rate. Be sure the crix aren't too large. The amount he's eating is fine, some eat a bit more, some less.
