Is it the right way?

Buddy is about 20 weeks now, he/she eats about 8 standard crickets in the morning then same again at 3:30pm when my little boy comes home from school.
Also every other day a few mealworms, everyday I put in fresh water wiv greens/veg and strawberrys!!.
The only things is he poos once or twice a day is this right?

Ok, 20 weeks old, he/she should be eating alot more than that, offer them how much they want until they stop.
how big are the locust you are feeding her?
They should be the size between the space of the eyes, no bigger..
Mealworms should not be fed, they have hard shells and are hard to digest..
Once a day is fine to poop

thanks for ur reply, is there a better worm I could feed him because he loves them?!
the crickets are med/large plus he has had large locusts before so maybe I should go back to them?

The crickets or locusts should be no larger than the space between his eyes otherwise can cause an impaction. Are you giving him all the crickets he wants to eat in about a 10 to 15 minute timeframe or are you cutting him off at 8? At that young age, they need lots of protein to help them grow and for their bones to develop properly.

Phoenix worms, hornworms, butterworms, silkworms, reptiworms are all good feeders for a beardie that age.

I don't stop him at 8 its just he stops and doesn't look for anymore, sometimes theres a few left and maybe he will find them later in the day, they are right size crickets but I think I might get some worms/hoppers too, thanks

Sounds like you are doing a pretty good job... except for the mealworm thing but that was addressed. I noticed that you said you leave the ones he doesnt eat in the cage, that is actually very dangerous. The crickets eat the bearded dragons (yes I mean EAT) while they are sleeping.

the crickets only get left duing the day but they are hopefully all out before lights out but thanks anyway
