Is it possible to breed hornworms in a 20 gallon tank using all the specifications for horn worm breeding ?
I dont know if somebody already tryied it ,so if somebody had the experience or is already breeding hw let me know how is the best way. I really want to try it.

I saw on http://www.manducaproject.com how to breed them and it actually tell you how to make the enviroment box and gives you the instructions on how to prepare it. But I would like to know if I can sustitute the box for a 20 gal. glass tank. I received an order of hw from Great Lakes and my kids fell in love with the worms and want to see the hole breeding process, so if there is somebody reading this and had success with hw please reply

I have though about breeding hornworms myself, i don't see why you couldn't use a 20 gallon tank to breed them, although a butterfly enclosure will help when they moths are ready to lay eggs and you'll need a tomato plant for them to lay eggs on. Just remember that they are moths, and that they lay on tomato plants and that if the horn worms eats the tomato plant it is deadly to your dragon!!!!!!!!
