Is it normal for a beardie to eat a box of locusts a day??

And he's out doing himself today, had a box for his first feed! I've had him a couple of weeks, he was 60g he's 95 now. I'm mildly worried I'm going to end up with an obese dragon but secretly proud of him.

They all eat at different rates. The amount they eat will fluctuate along with growth spurts as well. Keep offering all he wants for about 10 minutes per feeding a couple of times a day and he should be just fine. His eating will start to slow eventually but for now he's just growing at a healthy, rapid rate.

Probably a bit full. That's OK. Do be sure to remove the rest of the locusts after meal time so they don't bite or irritate him while they're climbing around.

Nah, I took them out he wasn't interested. Appetites back this morning though

Figured I'd put my question on here instead of making another discussion, I know beardies eat a lot, we've had ours for about 4 months. I usually fed her bsf maggots and some supers while offering veggies. I had to go to annual training in August and I left my wife 1000 hoping she would order more when she needed to but she didnt, she just got frozen crickets and supers while offering veggies, Scully still grew quite a bit while I was gone, when I got back I ordered more maggots and supers, they arrived today, she ate probably close to 75ish, like it was 2 heaping piles and I was worried she would make herself sick or something with how fast she was eating them, they apparently are her favorite. so my question is do I need to worry about her eating way to quickly and getting a blockage or something?

Was just looking at this post and laughing. . . Lovebug eats between 3/4 boxes a day now lol
