Is it big enough?

My step son wants a new tank for Christmas for his bd. his dragon is almost a yr old. Is 36x18x18 large enough for an adult? I saw a zilla brand one on sale at pet smart for 99.00 but want to make sure we aren't replacing it in a couple months. Thanks

Thats a 40 gal breeder size I believe... which is the minimum size for an adult beardie, so yes, that would last for an adult

I think the Zilla is actually a bit smaller at 36x18x16 if it's the same tank I'm thinking (Critter Cage).
They are supposed to have it half off on Dec. 18th if you can wait a few days.

Thanks for the petsmart info I looked and saw on the 22 they gave a zoo med 20 gallon setup for half off is that one good ?

20g is too small. You're gonna want at least the tank you were looking at if not bigger. If it ends up being $50, thats a good deal considering the Critter Cages includes the screen top (built in).

Thanks for the pet smart link. I had no idea they had these specials. Would the critter tank be large enough?

Depends on who you ask. Some say anything less than 4'x2'x2' is too small. Others says the 40 breeder is minimum...which is the Critter Cage. I'm still new to this myself but I got the 40 breeder. I'll let you know how it goes
