Is Hennessy dying?

I haven't posted on here in a while, but my 2yr old beardie has lost all interest in life itself. He was in a larger viv with temps on the cool end 80-83 and his basking was always 97-103. He has the tube uvb and tile substrate. He has not eaten in 1 month same with having a bowel movement. Ive tried syringe feeding with no luck. He has recently been moved into a smaller viv in my room so I can keep an eye out for him. I purchased some critical care powder but im lost on how to give it to him. Can I just squirt a little into his mouth or how do I go about this? He has lost a lot of weight and always sits in the cool end of his tank, cold to the touch and stress marks all day. I try to move him to the heat but he just goes back to the cool side. What else can I do to help him? He has a vet appt on thursday. Im one stressed out momma

Hi there....I'm sorry that you are having trouble with your fella. Do you know how much weight he has lost ? Are you weighing him or just a visual guess ? It would be good to know his exact weight. Do you have a picture of him , like a full body shot from above ? He may be wanting to brumate....has he ever done so before ? Is he drinking , being soaked for hydration ? As far as putting him in a smaller viv, that could add to his stress since it's a new tank, and may be harder to get proper temp. gradient in there. A vet can check for parasites, so be sure to try to get a fecal...will he do so in the water ? Sometimes if you take a beardie outside they become lively and will produce a poo for you. Give that a try the day of the vet appt. Hopefully it's something easy to fix....I don't think he's dying.
