So we are adopting a bearded dragon and she's arriving tomorrow. Crickets, check! Greens, check! But I see all these beardie pellet foods in the pet store. Should those be offered to supplement their diet?

I was hesitant because of the dyes in them. I don't give dyed food to my kids or other pets, so it felt wrong to give to a lizard. But I thought I should double check.

Thanks folks, I'm learning lots here.

No, most of those products are corn based and contain little nutrition. If you are giving the proper greens and feeders that's all you need :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
