My bearded was born march 13th 2016 but I think he might be a little small for his age. He's 10inches.
Maybe cause he doesn't eat a lot. 10 crickets a day and one time for 2weeks he only ate 5 crickets I were so worried those weeks. He seems to be doing better since then.
Since I've owned him hes only shed once.
Could it be possible he were inbred? Where I live everyone is trying to make any dollar they can. I bought the dragon for 100$, now they are trying to sell the parents for 600$.
they might've breed bearded dragons that were related. Kinda off topic but I had a cat that mated with his sister and the kittens were all really small so maybe that's why? I'm not a reptile expert so I don't know...
Maybe I'm doing something wrong... I have a bowl of bearded dragon kibbles and freeze dried crickets. He's got a heat pad a water dish uvb light basking light
I offer him a range of veggies including daldielion greens, kale, collard greens, acorn squash and butternut squash. Sometimes apples as a treat watermelon rarely, strawberrys maybe once a month..
Also his substrate is newspaper.
I mist him twice a day and give him a bath once a week. I fed him baby food today. The only ingredients on the label was organic butternut squash and water.
