Well, I've been poking around this forum for a couple weeks now, I figure I should probably introduce my dragon to everyone...

Here is Stanley! ...or Stanley Steamer, as we've been calling him...

He's 2 months old, and I got him a week ago from Atomic Lizard Ranch here in Arizona.

He's a Hypo Tangerine.

Hahaha small world isn't it. Did you go to Atomic Lizard Ranch, or did they ship him? I've been wondering about that place..

They shipped him to me. It was flawless - they overnighted him and I was able to track him until he arrived the next morning and I picked him up from the UPS office.

He arrived happy, colorful and perky!

My husband actually got him for me for my birthday, so he did all the talking with the woman who owns ALR - he said she was very friendly, and provided a lot of background on the dragons as far as what foods they have been introduced to, etc.

That's great, what a perfect birthday present! I'm glad it was a flawless delivery, he's absolutely adorable! Is this your first bearded dragon? They're addictive I think, my boyfriend and I just adopted our third beardie, so now we have 2 females and a male.

Nope, he's not my first. I had 2 others, a male named "Gizmo" and a female named "Gidgit". Gidgit lived to be almost 9 I think? And Gizmo lived to be almost 13. He passed away a couple years ago, and I still miss him dearly, even with baby Stanley. He was a huge, lovable pig of a dragon!

Wow 9 and 13 that's amazing!! You're definitely experienced, and I'm sorry for your losses. I've only had our third beardie for a few days and I'm so attached to her, my 8 month old female is my fat princess and I can't imagine losing either of them, Our male too! I never thought I'd be so in love with reptiles, but I would be so happy with a house full of beardies!!! Someday, someday!

The weird thing is, I had NO idea what I was doing with them at first, I screwed up HARD a few times, just out of sheer ignorance. I'm honestly surprised they made it at all, at least in the beginning. Thank god for the internet, even back then as limited as it was! I definitely have some stories about those two, LOL.

Yep, I'd love a whole house full of them too! They're like cheetos or fritos or whatever - you can't have just one!!!

What a cutie! Hi Stanley :D Congrats Dooter, he's lovely.

Thank you! He's quite the character - today he figured that if he opened up his little mouth and flattened his little body out whenever I put my hand in his enclosure that he might be able to scare me away - HA! He thinks he's bigger and scarier than what he really is! Little turd!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
