awww, bulldog beardie  . poor taz and his rough sheds, is he still grouchy?
sorry i havent said hi in a while, real life you know?
Lol, she does the "bulldog thing" fairly often...usually when she wants something. I love it  . It's the only time she really looks close to "tough". That's just Kaira though...she's a sweetie. Taz is still having some trouble with the coccidia and his sheds are horrible. He can be VERY cranky during a shed and if something isn't done his way, he'll let us know. Kaira never beards...not a
black beard anyways (she does her "stretches" in the morning and during sheds, but no black)...Taz...well he loves to show the red/orange in his beard and he does get black when he's mad, which is usually during sheds and he hasn't gotten a break from shedding for over a month.
It sure doesn't help with the coccidia, but he's doing a lot better than he was and continues to warm up to us...just a moody one. They are both spoiled, though. Kaira pouts and gets whatever she wants (usually to be held) and Taz, well he's hard to please lol, but still gets what he wants, he's still hard to "read".
I know all about real life. I usually don't take a month to get new pics up and the pics are a month old lol. With their schedule, class, being sick myself, and just life, it's been difficult to keep up on here, let alone "real life". I completely understand! I haven't had a chance to post on either of your threads, but still always take a look at the new pics...which I love! They are all 3 looking great and the new tank (100 gallon, right?) looks amazing and I'm sure they love it. Trouble never fails to crack me up  , he seems a little like Taz is some ways, Mayze (I hope I spelled that right) is such a sweetie, and you know, LG has a special place in my heart, along with many others on here. You've done an amazing job with all 3 of them and they have come so far.
Thanks for checking in on our two

 Hello Abi!
Kaira and Taz are looking great.
Kaira looks like she has grown quite a bit.
And poor little Taz looked so sad and grouchy in the shedding pic's.
I know that PVT Blaze is an ugly little jerk when he is shedding.
(Mr. Attitude!) :laughing6:
(Which lately is most of the time)
Hi Barbara,
Thank you!
Kaira is huge lol. She's got a nice beardie belly...they both do. I think she's around 15 1/2" long now (I need to measure both of them), with a little nip, so I think she's a nice sized female (we think female lol) for her age. Neither one of them are picky eaters...they are hard to keep full lol. I'd rather have it that way, though. They've been through so much with the coccidia, I've always been fearful that they will lose their appetites, but thank goodness, they haven't (even if they we've had to cut back on extras for ourselves to satisfy their never-ending appetites lol).
I feel so bad for Taz. He looks miserable in those pics. His "body sheds" are the worst! I have to admit the "mask" was kind of cute though. Oh, Taz can be quite a jerk when he's shedding, lol. We do everything we can to help him (daily baths and of course, he's on a probiotic still, so he's always well-
hydrated). Taz is catching up, at least in length, with Kaira, though. He was at least 14 1/2" long the last time we checked and he's putting on weight like crazy now. He'll out-eat Kaira lol, which is hard to believe.
I looked at PVT Blaze, he's a looker! So handsome and such a big boy! He's definitely bigger than Kaira and a few weeks younger than her (and she was one of the largest of her clutch! lol). I think Taz is going to be a big boy. He's about two months younger than Kaira and quite a bit bigger than she was at his age. I can't wait to see. They grow so fast!
I hate when they have difficult sheds, though. Like I said, Taz was miserable when I took those pics, it's hard to see them have to go through it.
Thank you both for checking in on them!
Abi
