Introducing myself

Hi all.....

I'm sorta new --- I just joined last week and was looking for ways to care for my BD better. I got great information. I guess now it's time to take a few minutes to introduce myself.

My BD's name is Cricket. We are from Staunton, VA. I keep my BD at school -- I'm a science teacher. I researched and found that BD's were a great classroom pet. The kids love to feed her and care for her as well as I do. She is often handled by us and we are very careful with her. We really enjoy her and I hope she enjoys us as well! In fact, she's sitting on my hand right now as I type. Here's a couple of pictures we took of her today.

I teach high school science -- Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. That covers 9th through 12th grades.

They love her! They always come in every day and the first thing they always ask is "Can we see her?!?!" Some days I do, other days I say only after we finish our work today.... I've gotta teach, ya know?! lol

I wish when I was in highschool that my teachers had a BD or something along those lines, ur kids are lucky.
