Introducing... Marvin MurderFace!

This handsome little devil is Marvin MurderFace. Named by a 6 year old little girl, Marvin has quickly become a family favorite. He is the sweetest little beardie ever. He enjoys running his little face through long hair and beards. He also very much enjoys running back and forth in his cage and waving at his own reflection. He likes to bask with his mouth open and his eyes closed. He has developed a strong distaste for crickets, but loves his dubias. We are soooo happy to have him in our family!

I honestly haven't got the slightest idea. I came up with Marvin and my daughter added in the MurderFace part. When I asked her why MurderFace, she said "Because he looks like he just murdered some cheetos." I laughed for a good ten minutes about that because she is only 6. So we just went with Marvin MurderFace, and she greets him by saying "Hello Mr. MurderFace."

Lol... If I can get him to eat, that would be FANTASTIC!!!

He will. Wait till he hits a growth spurt. He will eat you out of house and home. When Cooper was a baby I ordered 1,000 crickets every 3 weeks (I've since established a dubia colony which is MUCH easier).

We actually started our dubia colony already. Its just concerning because he was eating so good... now hes like... "Oh look a bug. And he just watches it walk by."

He'll go through phases like that too. It all depends on mood and where he is in his growth cycle. Once he approaches full size at around 12-18 months he will turn mainly vegetarian and won't eat nearly as much overall so it's good to offer salads as well. He may ignore them for now but if they're familiar as a food source it makes the transition easier.

Every now and then, because im an experienced HUMAN mom, I will trivk him into eating his veggies. Like, we have a veggie dish for him, and some times i will put a few worms in the veggies and when he gets the worm he will grab a piece or two of the veggies lol.
