Hello Everyone,
Below is the introduction, but now I have some sad news. Fennie passed away yesterday. Last week my husband was getting ready to put Fennie back in his cage, but Fennie was squirming and fell out of my husband's hands. for the rest of the evening, he pretty much laid around, but the next day he was up and patiently waiting for his crickets. He seemed like he was doing really well until about 2 days ago. He started to become sluggish, and by last night he passed away.
Normally when it would get close to noon, I would turn off his light to cool, so that I could get him more fresh water and more to eat. Well, this morning, I caught myself, for a split second thinking that I needed to check the time to see if it was time to take care of him. H is missed so much.
We are thinking about getting another dragon, but this time we would do some things differently. As someone mentioned on a post my husband made, we will definitely not hold this one up so high, since babies are so squirmy. We also need to get a ReptiSUN 10.0 instead of the coil bulb we were using. We will also be changing the type of substrate we use from paper towels to non adhesive shelf liner that way the crickets won't have a place to hind under, which the paper towels were good for that.
I am so glad we found this site and there are so many nice people here who are so helpful. So hopefully things will work out for our next dragon.

Hello this is me and my husband's beardie Fennie. We got him on May 28th. When we got Fennie, the breeder said s/he was 4-7 weeks, so we aren't sure of his/her exact age. Fennie is a Sandfire. Here are just a few pix I'd like to share.
Not sure why Fennie was doing this, but it looked kind of cute. Looks like he's waving.
I've heard great things about this site, and I look forward to being a part of this community
