Just found this forum, and have been reading around. Great stuff! I wanted to introduce you all to my 11 year beardie, Tycho. I got him when he was a hatchling, and so far he's moved three states with us, been on book covers, and is all around a very lovable character.
Unfortunately, lately he's been having some health problems (I will probably post about those in another thread). Mainly, I think, due to moving from Florida to New England, and him not being allowed free reign of the house because the apartment has wooden floors, instead of carpet, and I don't want him to get too cold. He's stressed, and now with probably respiratory problems, and maybe some mild calcium deficiency.
Anyways.. this is a photo that my husband took of Tycho hanging out with a frog that happened to be on our porch. The picture is two years old.
He's insane about mac and cheese (don't ask!). He's actually attacked my bowl before when I was having some, running from the floor of the room, up on the couch, on to the other couch, and actually plopping himself in my bowl!
Here's him getting ready to attack a plate full of mac 'n cheese. He gets fierce with those noodles!
Anyways.... Hi! Glad to be on here. I'll probably post elsewhere. I'd appreciate some good thoughts for his speedy recovery.
