Inflamed Eye! What should I do PLEASE HELP

My bearded dragon has yellow fungus so, my brother did some research and bought lamisil and put it on the fungus, however the fungus is really close to his eye, and im assuming that some went in, and now my bearded dragon's eye is inflammed, all around his eye on his head as well. his eye is getting smaller because it's so inflammed. What should I do?
We washed him, should I use a cold towel and put it there?

Take him to a vet. Yellow fungus is very serious, and especially around an eye may require some silver cream and/or oral antifungals.

PIctures would be helpful. As suggested, yellow fungus is very serious & poses a threat to their health. How long has he had it?
Get some sterile saline solution to wash his eye out but it sounds like it may have either spread to his eye or it is extremely irritated due to the lamisil getting in his eye. He may need an antibiotic eye ointment to treat that.
Do you have a vet to take him to?
Is he eating very well right now?

Yesterday i gave him a bath and try to wipe a bit on his eye, however this morning his eye around it is yellow now, and has yellow discharge. His head is read and around his eye as well. I'm planning to go to the vet later today, but it is serious to go correct?

Roughly How much would the medication cost?
My local vet said check ups are 44.50, however she couldn't tell me the price of the medications since they don't know what I need

He should definitely go. The fungus hasn't spread too far it seems, but the proximity to the eye and the redness of his head are worrying. I can't tell you the cost of meds, but I would prepare to spend $100 total for the check up and meds.

So it definently is yellow fungus correct?

If so, how should I prevent it from happening ever again? I'm not even sure how it developed.

Honestly, not sure if it's fungus or not. The head colors more and more look like a shed that is only part way completed. His snout and edges of his head are very white like they are getting ready to shed. The yellow spot is most likely fungus., but I can't tell for sure. Maybe someone else will know, or if not the vet will for sure. I gotta say, the worst thing that happens is you go spend $45 for visit for them to say he's healthy.

Well, what kind of substrate do you use? Sand and other loose substrates are enemy number one with fungus.

If it is fungus and you start to treat it, make sure you thoroughly sanitize everything in the tank.

I don't think the red part is shedding since if i lightly touch him there he flinches and shakes his head violently, so im assuming it hurts.

I used to use walnut shells then switch to a weird green tortoise substrate, but once i saw the fungus, i took it all out and replaced it for paper towels.

That is probably the source of the fungus then. Also, have to watch humidity. The vet visit is definitely a must if the top of his head is that sensitive.

Wait what would be a perfect substrate for my beardie then? Paper towel can get pricey if i have to switch them every time he poops.

Oh one more question is it normal for my beardie to poop every once 3 days or so?

As they get older they poop less often. Some only go once a week. Every 2-3 days is totally normal. As for substrate - I highly suggest slate tiles from Home Depot or something. I got enough for Max's 40 gallon tank for about $15 and they never need to be replaced unless you break one. They are easy to clean, and keep nails trim as well.

Yup. Or you can put paper towels underneath too.
