Incomplete Shed

Our Beardie recently went through a shed on his legs, however it looks like he didn't complete on his 'thighs' rear legs. We've noticed that the legs beneath where it had shed is sort of a different color now. He is eating normally and his head is about to shed.

This is the first shed that hasn't completed and we are worried. How can we help this come off? We've bathed him and used a soft toothbrush but it seems pretty stuck. I'm worried about it causing serious issues.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Pic included, only shows one leg but both are the same.

The same thing is happening to my beardie but on his tail. Even my beardies head is starting to shed. I've also been doing the same things you are with no success. I was just about to post a thread but i think ill just follow yours if you dont mind. Hope its nothimg major.

I don't mind but it's been days and no one has answered.

I got all of mine off my lil guy by giving him another bath then using a really soft tooth brush and was able to get it started and off. It took a little patience but it seemed to feel good to him. He didn't fight me.

Lots of soaks in warm water and time will usually do the trick. If it gets around their nails you can try using a qtip very gently but in general it's best not to mess with the shedding skin too much.
