Well our new baby just arrived today. She is so cute, and sooo tiny! Never could I have imagined she'd be so tiny. Weird, since I've been looking at the dragons at Petco every time I have to go there! LOL But she's home and we are letting her settle in.

How cute, and what a spacious palace this dragon has to herself ! How is Imugi settling in ? Sometimes a huge cage is kind of scary for a baby....is she able to find her crickets O.K.? Just curios if you don't mind me asking what type of UVB bulb you have. One thing you'll need to be sure is that she can be close enough to the UVB long enough to benefit from it. I hope she does well for you. :)

The UVB is a reptisun 10.0 t5. She's all over the enclosure. She's been everywhere. She has a new skull that sits atop her basking platform so she can get closer if she feels like it. ATM she's eating freshly shed mealies and I'm trying to get her to eat dubias. We don't have crickets since the Petco closest never has any crickets that are actually alive! And I'm not allowed to keep a lot. Hubby's dictate as he hates them. I'm breeding superworms and mealies for our geckos, so she'll be able to have baby superworms soonish. She's also very good at eating her salad. She's doing pretty well. Just shed her head...there's skin all over the enclosure that I keep picking up. Her legs are going into shed now. We are trying to keep hands off for now. She has a few stress marks due to getting a bath since she is shedding. Have decided to just mist her for the moment, until she is more comfortable with us. She's not ready to be handled. I try to slowly move my hand inside to get her used to it, but if I move too fast, she's off like a shot.

It sounds like she's a sweet little rascal. :) She has a lot of open space so she's exercising her ability to elude you with her quickness ! Hopefully she'll be used to you soon....you can put your hand in there every day and let her get used to you. Misting is fine, but only if she drinks as it pools down her head and she can get the drops. Be careful with even the baby superworms, try to look for the fresh shed ones like you do with the mealworms. Dubias are great, but you probably know to make sure they are smaller than the space between her eyes. Hopefully she'll continue to eat her greens, that's a real bonus with a baby dragon. :)

I've caught her soaking herself in her water dish. Not sure if she's drank from it or not though. Couldn't see if she drank when I misted her as she was in the back of the enclosure not facing me. I'll keep trying.

Moo is my daughters but since I'm the one home all day she has to get used to me too. And my daughter is allergic to roaches, so she can't feed those to her, I have to handle them. Depending on how things work out, we might just have to get another! LOL

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
