impaction?

my bearded dragon is straining like its trying to poop , clearly it is trying to do that. She just keeps straining and nothing happens..it looks pretty bad though. I'm not sure if it is actually impaction because she pooped about 4 hours ago. I dont know what to do because i'm not sure what the trouble is. help is appreciated.

Ok first thing I would do is put him right in a nice warm bath and let him soak for at least 20 minutes to hydrate him and get things moving.While he is in there you should massage the abdomen in a downward circular motion starting from the armpit and working your way down toward the vent.I would also give him a drop or two of olive oil or canned pumpkin to help things out.What are your temps and how are you measuring them?What are you feeding?How much?Vitamins?

I did all of those things, but I just found an egg in the tank. This would explain why she was straining but still pooping... although its kind of odd for a single egg to just pop out like this i would think..i think i will be taking a trip to the vet just in case .

Well yes there has to be more eggs in there and I do agree a vet visit is a very good idea as she may be egg bound.I would also recommned upping her daily baths and calcium daily for her.Do you have a laybox set up?
