Have you guys seen the majority of Bearded Dragon videos on Youtube? There was one where a guy was teasing his dragon with another lizard and finally tosses it in and the dragon eats it. Not only that, but there was another dragon in there with it, and they start fighting over the lizard they're eating.

Wtf? How can people do that?

I don't tend to go near utube.

Do they have an option to report content as this is cruelty to animals and their ip address can be traced and they can be prosecuted - or at least they could in the UK, not sure if its the same elsewhere.

There are a lot of really sick and cruel videos on there. I am not sure if they do it for the attention or for the thrill but I try not to look on there unless someone gives me a specific video to go to now. I can't take the stuff I see on there.

i searched bearded dragons in youtube the other day and seen a video of a person put a gecko in a bearded dragon tank the bearded dragon then ate it!!! why someone would do that to an animal i dont know. The people in the video then started laughing there heads off!! you kno what they say about people who are cruel to animals they move on to more worse things!

I have to agree, Youtube should have stricter rules on whats put up,
Not just beardies but all animals,
like when that guy lights that cat on fire, its just sick!
Ive seen some terrible stuff on youtube, and on thing that still stays with me, makes me sick

Yup, I know exactly how you feel. I'm always livid when watching those things. It really does illustrate how cruel people can be, how cruel and unthinking.

You know, it could be worse though. I was at my cousin's house for xmas last year (now mind you, he's 25, not a 14 yr old). He waved me over to the table where he was looking at things on his laptop. He said, "You want to see something cool?"
I replied, "Sure!", thinking I'd see a goat riding a horse or something. No. Instead, he showed me an al quaeda video of this white guy getting his throat SLIT OPEN! Cut, with a dull knife. Sometimes, when I am trying to fall asleep at night, I still remember his screams, loud and then immediately muffled, like coming from a far off place.

Sorry, I don't know why I digressed, but even cruelty as small as an animal devouring another at the hand of their master, or a person dying makes me sad, angry and confused about whether our species is one that deserves revelry or the severest of punishment. It makes me pull my hairs out.

They do crack down on some. Like a while ago there was a video of some girl throwing a bucket full of puppies into a river in the middle of winter. And she pulled all of the puppies out one at a time and you could hear the puppies yelping and whining in pain as she threw them into the river. It was on National News here in the US.

It was the Daniel Pearl video. A friend of mine asked me to watch it with her because she could get extra credit for a political science class for writing an essay on it. I won't go into the experience, but I can't see that man's face without feeling sick and I can still remember his screams too, as we were trying to close the video without looking at the screen anymore. It was, and I hope will remain, the single most disturbing and sad thing I have ever, ever seen.
