IM SO EXCITED!!!!

For a couple of months I’ve been doing my research on beardies while trying to convince my mother to let me get one. Last night she finally got sick of me bugging her and said YES!!! I am so excited to get a beardie my heart feels like its going to explode. I haven’t ordered him yet but it will be soon. I will be going out next week to start getting all the stuff I need. Any advice on things I should get or on my first dragon.

If you want something "weird" to get, I recommend something that's got a slightly knobbly, rough surface to put somewhere in the viv. :wink: Wave's giant lobster - bought at Lowes, it was in the garden section - is a lifesaver when she sheds. It's the perfect texture to rub up against, like a scratching post for a cat! :lol:

well done i remember when i got my first dragon i was soooo excited just make sure your ready for a lot of work its not like you can say i cant be bothered today, a dragon takes a lot of responsability, but you sound like you have been looking into it so good luck

If your looking for a little older beardies, Fresnowitte (Barbara) has some wonderful juvies available, just pm her and she'll give you pics and prices.

My advice would be to try to get most of your stuff (except supplements and UV lights) second-hand - you'll save hundreds of dollars. Just make a list of what you need, and start scouring local classifieds :wink:
