I'm not even sure how I would mount inside since the lid is mesh....Also, if i get the tube light, can I still use the same fixture for the basking light?

I just used velcro to hold it up and it isn't going anywhere lol it takes some serious umph for me to get it off. I don't see why you couldn't use the dome with the right halogen bulb for a basking spot :)

There are all kinds of creative ways to hang the lights on this forum but if you get a T5 (not the T8 that I have) then you could do it on the screen. Just have to measure distances :)

And your baby is adorable :)

Thank you and thank you!! We totally love her! It's like having a new baby though...constant worry, always new things and the worst is all of the conflicting info from food, how much to dust/feed and when, etc. :? I use the repti basking spot lamp, is that a good enough one?

That was our problem, we got her from petsmart too. They also told me she would eat 10-15 crickets a day so they're full of it.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
