After all the rescearching learning and setting up I have done I decided to adopt a baby dragon whom was born on October 11-2014 and have decided to name "her" Penny
This is her set up. Please let me know what you honestly think. All opinions are welcome
I have a 40 gallon glass tank
Reptisun 10.0 uvb (18 inches) housed in flourescent light fixture from Home Depot mounted inside tank.
100 watt zoo med basking spot lamp. The digi therm reads 103.4 at top of basking spot on branch. The cool side temp reads 76.7 at tank floor
She eats small crickets 3 times a day dusted with reptical once a day I have introduced greens and squash but she has not been interested in it at this point ( replenished daily)
I am ready for my report card!
I have pictures! Please comment!
Welcome to the forum. Looks like you're off to a great start! Penny is lucky. The only suggestion I can think of off the top of my head is to provide an additional hide. Just a place where she can get out of the light for a little while and feel secure. You can use a half log, hollow rock, stacked wood or something similar. You can get creative with it. Your temps and lighting are right on, and that's one of the most important parts!
