Steve, I'm not sure I'm following what you're saying.

I have on the back of the tank the hygrometer probe to the left and the temp probe going towards the right (the cool side). On the driftwood itself I have the thermometer attached to the bottom with the probe running around to the top. The readings with this combo right now at this moment are:

Basking Spot = 103.7°
Cool Side = 82.5°
Humidity = 34%

Actually, I still want to find some fake plants, but I went to the Michael's nearby, and they were like $30.

You can actually go to a dollar store and buy some silk vines and rubber suction cups. They are much cheaper there and work out very well. Lots of choices too.

Do you have a hobby lobby near you? It is a LOT cheaper than Michael's.

Yes, Steve definitely check out any dollar stores in your area for sure. I only have a couple reasonably close to me and I was at Michael's looking for something else and saw they were on sale so I grabbed one. Also, just an FYI that if you have any local Michael's or AC Moores they normally have a 40% off a regularly priced item coupon in their flyers. I think Michael's is switching to doing their ads online only now so you'd have to register to get the coupons emailed to you. They might come in handy though. Good luck!

The actual measurenents ar 17 1/2 x 17/12 and fits in a 40 gallon critter keeper perfect
