I'm out of insects, what can I temporarily replace them with

Hi guys,
I have run out of insects, and I cant get anymore till around Tuesday, what can I feed Kuro until I get more insects?
Kuro is around three months old and is currently going through his shed.
His appetite is not effected when he sheds.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you can go to the petstore and pick some live crickets up that will last until then.

If they dont have any you could get the canned crickets, make sure its the ones in the can not the freeze dried crap.
The already dead insects can only be used for backup food and not a sole staple feeder.

Hi,
I can't get anywhere till Tuesday/Wednesday,
so I was wondering if there were any foods that would give him the nutrition he needs.
I heard that boiled egg will give him protein, is this true?

Yes, egg is fine. Some beardies will eat it right up , others are not so eager . Yiu can scramle an egg + microwave it for 50-60 seconds until it's firm. Break off small pieces but don't give him too many, egg is rich + somewhat fatty.
