So my Juvenile has been eating great the past week because he loves his new phoenix worms, I got the phoenix worms because he doesn't seem to like crickets. He wouldn't really eat them anymore awhile back when he started shedding & still doesn't today. Although I have ran out of phoenix worms & await a new shipment. Till then, Reptar is stuck w/ veggies & crickets. (note that he hasn't accepted veggies yet, any tricks to get him to eat them?) & as for the crickets, he was doing good at first since he hasn't had any in awhile but I think he is starting to realize that they are no Phoenix worms! :p So he has refused eating his last few offerings. Now, as cruel as it sounds I rip of the legs to crickets & serve them in his bowl (since he is not a good hunter when it comes to crickets). He'll eat one or two then realize wtf & go bask. I'm not sure what I can do to make him eat them. Also, one of the main reasons I started this topic was to ask are there any tricks to getting a dragon to eat inside a separate container w/ out them freaking out trying to escape? My juvenile eats just fine if it's offered in his bowl, viv or outside his viv in his bowl but if I put him in a separate container he will freak out & try to escape it.

There is no way that you can get them to eat in a separate container if they prefer not to do it. Some beardies will really freak out and not touch them. I have raised several beardies and none of them would eat in a separate container.

That's odd. I've avoided feeding Leyla in her terrarium since I got her, and she takes moving quite well. I'll remove her, let her eat as she pleases and put her back - no harm done. I guess she's used to it by now.

They are very set in their ways. Evidently Leyla adjusted to it well or perhaps she was fed in a separate container before you got her.

I had tried several times and they would go without eating rather than eating somewhere other than their tanks.

I tried feeding Spike in a separate tank from day one and he doesn't freak.. but she will just sit still and stare and not bother with the crickets around her. I have tried throwing a cricket or two in her bath.. I have tried a ton of different "outside her house" feeding ideas and nothing works. She ONLY eats in her own house.. and only when its fed to her a certain way. She likes to chase them down... one at a time... and when she is tired of chasing.. she likes them herded in front of her face and she will snap them up as they walk past. When she is full she will just stare up at my face instead of looking at crickets.
As for getting her to eat veggies.. she will ONLY eat collard greens. I have tried carrots, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, cucumber, bell pepper, parsley, celery, blue berries, apples, kale, pear, all with NO success. She only eats collards.. and only if they are super fresh. Once they start wilting a little.. she will lick at it but wont take it. I am all for tips on getting her to eat something other than collards. I worry about her hydration since she wont eat fruits of any sort.. or any water retaining veggies like cucumber.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
